Position:
We’re looking for a “do-er” to join our IT Asset Disposition team in Urbandale, Iowa. This role is fully on-site with some off-site driving requirements and comes with competitive pay and paid time off.
What You'll Do:
- Handle shipping
- Picking product from inventory, carefully packaging it, and preparing it for shipment
- Supporting our MSP and Retail teams by processing and packaging their outgoing orders
- Process incoming electronic recycling
- Evaluate incoming electronic devices for repair, refurbishment, or scrap metals
- Identify electronics from incoming inventory that are viable for resale.
- Set up, connect, and run electronic testing procedures using internal diagnostic tools.
- Troubleshoot and repair hardware issues by replacing defective parts.
- Provide timely, accurate inventory reports to our clients
- Securely remove client data from devices following HIPPA and NIST Publication 800-88 Revision 1 Guidelines
- Evaluate incoming electronic devices for repair, refurbishment, or scrap metals
- Complete recycling pickups
- Collect recycling equipment from client locations, primarily in the metro area
What We're Looking For:
Must-Haves:
- Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
- Must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirement and safety guidelines
- Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience working with computers, servers, and other electronic devices
- Basic understanding of computer software installation and use
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
- A passion for tinkering: working hands-on to find solutions
