Job Overview
We’re looking for a Part-Time Supply Chain Support Associate to assist our production and supply chain teams by helping materials, paperwork, and communication flow smoothly across departments.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety — part desk-based coordination, part hands-on inventory support — and takes pride in keeping operations efficient and organized.
Responsibilities
Production Coordination (Mondays)
- Review open work orders and current production priorities with the Planning Manager.
- Identify shortages, backorders, or production bottlenecks.
- Update production boards and share findings with supervisors and managers.
Inventory & Material Support (Wednesdays)
- Verify on-hand quantities and assist with material counts.
- Review and file receiving paperwork for recent deliveries.
- Update purchase orders and assist with reorder recommendations.
- Help organize and label storage areas for efficiency and accuracy.
Cross-Training Rotation (Fridays)
- Rotate weekly between Receiving, Work-in-Process (WIP), and Shipping.
- Check in materials, label items, and stage parts for production.
- Assist with verifying and preparing outgoing shipments.
Qualifications
Must Have:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly across departments.
- Comfortable working in both office and production areas.
- Basic computer and documentation skills.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in production, inventory, or logistics.
- Familiarity with manufacturing or supply chain processes.
