Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant/ Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood development and experience working with young children in a preschool or daycare setting. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children 0- 2 years old.

Duties

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that foster learning and creativity.
  • Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment for all students.
  • Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
  • Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with other educators and staff to support the needs of children with disabilities or special education requirements.
  • Provide care for infants and toddlers as needed, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Engage in behavior management strategies to support children's social skills and emotional regulation.
  • Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.

Qualifications

  • Child Development Associate Credential required.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
  • Experience working with young children in a preschool, daycare, or similar setting is essential.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education.
  • Familiarity with special education practices and experience working with students with disabilities is a plus.
  • First aid certification is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Experience in caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting is beneficial.
  • Demonstrated ability in classroom management and creating engaging learning experiences. We invite enthusiastic candidates who are committed to fostering a love of learning in young children to apply for this rewarding position.
  • Starting Pay is $13.00 if you do not have a CDA.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
