Dykema's Taxation and Estate Planning practice group seeks a talented senior counsel/junior member level attorney with 10 years of tax, estate planning and administration experience for our Chicago office. The ideal candidate will have significant experience working with family offices, C-suite executives, and high net worth individuals and families, and should be an all-around tax practitioner who can capably draft wills, trusts, irrevocable trusts and other estate planning documents. In addition, the ideal candidate will be familiar with preparing gift and estate tax returns, drafting limited liability company and family limited partnership agreements and other related tax planning documents. The member will also advise clients on tax planning and reporting, fiduciary duties, contested estates and gift and estate tax controversies. Admission to practice in Illinois is required. Some portable business is preferred but not required. Candidates with an LLM in taxation are preferred. Position title may vary based on portable business and experience level. The salary range for this position is expected to start at $250,000 and may vary based on skills and experience level. We are accepting recruiter submissions for this position.
