Dykema’s Chicago office seeks an attorney with 4–6 years of transactional experience for our Corporate Finance practice group. The ideal candidate will focus on financing transactions, with significant experience representing lenders across a variety of industries in connection with acquisition financings, recapitalizations, and restructurings. A working knowledge of general corporate law, including mergers and acquisitions, entity formation and capitalization, corporate governance, shareholder agreements, customer agreements, and day-to-day operations, is a plus. The attorney should demonstrate attention to detail, superior organizational skills, the ability to adapt to rapidly changing circumstances and competing priorities, and the capacity to quickly learn substantive legal topics. The attorney is also expected to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external clients at all levels. The salary range for this role is $192,000 - $212,000. All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Admission to practice in Illinois is required, and admission to New York is preferred.
