Position: In-Home Caregiver (Dedicated Support for ALS)** **Overview** We are seeking a reliable, patient, and boundary-focused In-Home Caregiver to provide essential daily support for an individual with advanced-stage ALS. This role is strictly focused on patient care, physical assistance, and clinical task execution within the home. No formal healthcare experience or certifications are required; we provide full, on-site training for the right individual who is dedicated to consistent, high-quality care. **Responsibilities** *
**ADL Support:** Provide full assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, and mobility support. *
**Mobility & Transfers:** Utilize mechanical lifts (Hoyer/Sara Plus) to safely assist with all transfers and repositioning. *
**PEG Tube Care:** Assist with medication administration and nutrition delivery via PEG tube, strictly following pre-portioned care plans and safety protocols. * **Health Monitoring:** Track and record vital signs, monitor symptoms, and log intake/output accurately and objectively. *
**Professional Boundaries:** Maintain a strictly professional presence. The focus of this role is the physical well-being of the patient. Caregivers are expected to remain task-focused and to avoid involvement in personal, emotional, or family-related discussions. *
**Objective Reporting:** Maintain clear, factual daily logs regarding tasks completed and health observations for family and medical team review. **Requirements** *
