Job Description
Dyersville Die Cast is seeking a dependable, safety-focused Material Handler / Forklift
Operator to support shipping, logistics, and production operations. This position plays a key
role in keeping materials and finished goods moving efficiently throughout the facility to
support production schedules and customer deliveries.
Essential Duties
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment
- Transport raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods
- Complete shipping, receiving, and transfer documentation
- Operate weight scales to verify materials
- Follow safety and quality standards
- Maintain clean and organized work areas (5S)
- Support production and shipping schedules
- Manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to read instructions and complete paperwork
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Reliable attendance and teamwork skills
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 1–2 years experience preferred
- Stand/walk up to 10 hours per shift
- Lift up to 10 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally
- Bend, reach, and move safely around equipment
- Manufacturing/warehouse setting
- Exposure to forklifts, equipment, and production noise
- PPE require
