US Power Trader/Portfolio Manager
Due to the continuing growth of the desk, we are pleased to announce an opening for a US Power Trader/Portfolio Manager to strengthen our team. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of experience on an electricity trading desk, and have a strong entrepreneurial approach.
This role will function within the desk book, reporting to the Head of Power, and will be compensated based on the performance of the desk book.
The key Responsibilities for this role include:
- Management of desk financial power portfolio
- Pricing support for origination and marketing
Candidates should also:
- Have 3 Years of power trading experience in PJM or MISO
- Have strong knowledge of market fundamentals; fluent in Hubs and Zones
- Be familiar with term and spot portfolio management
- Be comfortable transacting on ICE and with brokers
- Be able to provide fixed price hedges to other portfolios
