Shift Time/Overtime: Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm Travel: Not Required Education: High School Diploma or GED
Location: USA:LA:Shreveport

Responsibilities of the Test Lab Technician include, but are not limited to:
- Assembly and installation of API/ANSI spec centrifugal pumps on test stand
- Flexible and rigid joint piping assembly up to 36" diameter
- Connection and bolt up of ANSI B16.1 class 150# - 2500# flanges
- Mechanical shaft alignment via optical laser alignment tool
- Electric motor power connections up to 6600V
- API mechanical seal flush plan installation and monitoring
- Daily operation of flow control valves (butterfly, gate, globe)
- Routine maintenance of shop tools and equipment
- Routine cleaning and housekeeping duties
- Daily overhead crane operation
- Daily indoor/outdoor forklift operation
Qualifications of the Test Lab Technician include, but are not limited to:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the oil and gas industry
- Basic knowledge of flanged and hammer union pipe connections
- Basic knowledge of hand and pneumatic tools including combo wrenches, sockets, ratchets, and impacts
- Possess a skill set in fabrication including oxygen/acetylene cutting, MIG, or Arc welding
- Is capable of operating overhead cranes/forklifts
- Has experience with mechanical shaft alignment
- Has experience with electrical wiring/controls
