Physical Demand: Must be able to lift 50 lbs. multiple times daily unassisted, 75 lbs. assisted, and push or pull 100 lbs. assisted; must be able to stand/walk for extended periods
Working Conditions: Must be willing to work inside and outside as required; may be exposed to elements and outdoor temperatures
Training/Certifications: Professional skilled training is a plus
Shift Time/Overtime: Typical work is 7:00am - 3:30pm and overtime can be required but is limited
Travel: Must have acceptable driving record according to company guidelines
Education: High School Diploma, vocational education, industrial or mechanical education is a plus but not required

Responsibilities of the Pump Mechanic include, but are not limited to:
- Repair/fabricate a variety of centrifugal, gear, diaphragm, and reciprocating pumps, gear reducers and related rotating equipment
- Troubleshoot, disassemble, inspect and repair a variety of rotating equipment including centrifugal pumps (both single and multi-stage), gear pumps, reciprocating pumps and metering pumps, gear reducers, blowers (both vacuum and pressure), mechanical seals, and many other types of equipment
- Install equipment using manufacturer specifications ensuring proper alignment balance and tolerances
- Read and understand an IOM and BOM
- Maintain safe operations by adhering to all safety procedures and regulations
- Good mechanical aptitude required
- Experience working with rotating equipment a plus
- Applicant must be customer driven
- Be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and physical
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment
- Must have positive "can-do" attitude
- Have the ability or learn to read and interpret mechanical drawings, and service manuals and possess ability to work with basic math
- Ability to use a variety of hand tools, machine tools, and precision measuring instruments
- Demonstrated ability to work safely and follow safety procedures and regulations
- Demonstrated ability to act in a self-directed manner with no immediate supervision
- A background, physical, lift assessment and drug screening is required
