Summary
The Pump Mechanic will repair/fabricate a variety of centrifugal, gear, diaphragm, and reciprocating pumps, gear reducers and related rotating equipment, troubleshoot, disassemble, inspect and repair a variety of rotating equipment including centrifugal pumps (both single and multi-stage), gear pumps, reciprocating pumps and metering pumps, gear reducers, blowers (both vacuum and pressure), mechanical seals, and many other types of equipment.

Summary

Responsibilities of the Pump Mechanic include, but are not limited to:
- Repair, fabricate, install and remove a variety of centrifugal, gear, diaphragm, and reciprocating pumps as well as other related rotating equipment either in-house or in the field. This will include inspection of bearings, seals, shafts and other hardware. Fabrication and alignment of pump assemblies. Will maintain shop equipment.
- Some experience working with rotating equipment is preferred
- Pump knowledge preferred
- Mechanical aptitude is required
- Ability to use Microsoft Office
- Experience using hand tools and power tools
- Background check, physical, and drug test required
- Acceptable driving record required according to company guidelines
