The Fire Extinguisher Technician will maintain a safe work environment while working for customers, site safety supervision, service and repair breathing air equipment, service and repair fire extinguisher. Class B portable fire extinguisher tech. Repairs, inspects, services portable class B fire extinguishers. Must have Class B Texas portable Fire Extinguisher License.

Summary

Responsibilities of the Fire Extinguisher Technician include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain a safe work environment while working for customers
- Site safety supervision
- Rig up and Rig down H2S equipment
- Service and repair breathing air equipment
- Service and repair fire extinguishers
- Service and repair personal and rig monitor equipment
- High angle and confined space rescue training
- Confined space
- High Angle rope rescue
- Hot work and permitting
- Multi-gas monitors
- All aspects of job safety
- Acceptable driving record
- Must have Class B Texas Fire Extinguisher license
- All "New Hires" are subject to a 90-day evaluation period
- Must be able to bend, crouch, squat to complete job tasks
- Physical Demand: Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Working Conditions: Ability to work in an industrial environment, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity. Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Training/Certifications: Knowledge of OSHA regulations and Safety regulations in the oilfield. Must have a current Texas Class B fire extinguishers license
- Shift Time/Overtime: Ability to work 24 hours on call schedule with some weekends and overtime required
- Travel: Limited to area wide service. Primarily Permian Basin with occasional national travel required
- Education: High school diploma or GED
