Summary
The Assembly personnel will assemble of skid units and industrial equipment, interpreting assembly drawings and measurements, operate weld machines, cutting tools, and other industrial tools, must be willing to assist individuals from other departments in the area of but not limited to function testing, hydrostatic testing of pressure components, and alignment of rotating equipment.

Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. required
Working Conditions: Ability to stand, bend, and work in a shop environment for extended periods. Shop/fabrication environment with exposure to noise, equipment, and varying temperatures
Shift Time/Overtime: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM Overtime as required
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Location: USA:TX:Katy

Responsibilities of the Fabrication Package Assembly Technician, but are not limited to:
- Assemble fabrication packages, skids, and mechanical systems according to engineering drawings and specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly
- Perform mechanical assembly, fitting, and alignment of components
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete assembly tasks safely and efficiently
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards and specifications are met
- Collaborate with shop supervisors, welders, and other team members to complete projects on schedule
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and follow all safety procedures
- Assist with troubleshooting and rework as needed
- 5–10 years of experience in a fabrication and/or packaging shop environment required
- Ability to read and interpret prints/blueprints is required
- Must have own tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on assembly experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
