Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Brooklyn, NY, for an Intermediate Interior Designer. Responsibilities include space planning, developing interior design concepts, creating construction drawings, and FF&E selection. The role involves collaboration with project teams, maintaining design integrity, coordinating with consultants and vendors, and ensuring that project goals align with the firm's vision and standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design, including conceptualizing and executing creative designs
- Strong skills in Architecture and drafting Construction Drawings with precision and attention to detail
- Experience with FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment), including sourcing and specifying items appropriately
- Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including consultants and vendors, to ensure project alignment
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks within project deadlines
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
- Experience with sustainable and innovative design practices is a plus
