Why You’ll Love This Role:
As the Community Resource and Support Coordinator, you’ll be the frontline advocate for DWD Scholars—researching, vetting, and connecting them with community resources that help them succeed. You’ll also play a key role in coordinating programs, events, and educational opportunities at our Resource Center and virtually through our expanding Resource Hub.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is entrepreneurial, community-driven, and excited to build strong partnerships while supporting Scholars every step of the way.
What You’ll Do:
- Plan and coordinate inperson and virtual events, trainings, and activities for Scholars.
- Build strong relationships with local community partners and resource providers.
- Connect Scholars with community resources and supportive programs.
- Promote DWD’s mission through outreach and community engagement.
- Manage operations of the Resource Center, ensuring it’s a welcoming, supportive space.
- Track program activities, outcomes, and participation to ensure continuous improvement.
- Serve as a key member of the Training Support Center Team.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3 years of experience working within the community, ideally in community engagement or social services.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a human servicerelated field (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of community resources and a passion for making connections.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Comfort with technology, including virtual training platforms, Microsoft Office, and Salesforce (preferred).
- Valid driver’s license and regular access to a vehicle.
- Ability to work occasional evenings or flexible hours as needed.

Starting salary: 62,000 to 65,000 per year.
