POSITION OVERVIEW
Dwyer Marble & Stone is seeking a client-focused and detail-oriented Showroom Representative to join our high-end showroom. This role blends interior design expertise with exceptional customer service, guiding clients through their stone and tile selections while ensuring an elevated showroom experience. The ideal candidate combines a strong design sensibility with a confident sales approach while maintaining strong organization and detail during the management of client projects from inspiration to order completion. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greeting: Welcoming clients and guests upon entry to the showroom with a professional and friendly demeanor in order to create an inviting atmosphere that sets the tone for an exceptional showroom experience
- Customer Service: Exhibiting strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for creating memorable client experiences and fostering strong relationships
- Consult: Assist residential clientele with their stone and tile selections, offering design guidance and support related to their project
- Education: Providing product knowledge and appropriate material options tailored to specific project needs
- Project Management: Managing multiple client projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment by ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and precision when placing and overseeing client orders
- Support: Working collaboratively with showroom staff as well as our Warehouse, Sales, and Marketing departments, to ensure smooth communication and seamless processes
- Maintain: Maintaining the showroom appearance through light housekeeping, restocking, and upholding sample organization and merchandising standards
- Assist: Participate in showroom events, trainings, and special projects as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design is preferred
- 3 years of retail or customer service experience is a plus
- Previous experience in the tile and stone, building, or design industry is a plus
- Polished appearance and professional presentation
- Friendly, confident, and outgoing personality
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-starter who is willing to go the extra mile
- Comfortable balancing multiple tasks and shifting priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Basic computer proficiency, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite
- Punctual, reliable, and committed to delivering a consistent, elevated client experience
- Knowledge of surface materials (natural stone, quartz, porcelain) and their applications is a plus
