Line Lead I
Range: $19.73 - $24.92 hr.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive shift assignments and regular duties as directed by the Production Supervisor and/or production schedules.
- Accurately assemble subassemblies and finished products in a safe and timely manner.
- Communicate production issues within the scope of assigned responsibilities that may impact delivery timelines or product quality to the Production Supervisor.
- Utilize a variety of power and hand tools, including screwdrivers, torque drivers, epoxy/glue dispensers, light bench-top machinery, and programming and calibration equipment, to support assembly and testing operations.
- Demonstrate expert-level knowledge of all equipment and products assigned to the production line.
- Maintain effective communication with all employees to promote positive employee morale.
- Organize work areas before, during, and after assignments; maintain general housekeeping and workstation organization.
- Train new employees as required.
- Address minor employee concerns and conflicts in a professional manner.
Requirements
Required Skills / Experience / Equipment Operation
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have valid authorization to work in the United States issued by the Department of Homeland Security.
- Minimum of 90 days of service required.
Physical and Mental Essential Functions
- Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English, and to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to count and sort accurately.
- Ability to interact and communicate respectfully with coworkers and management.
- Ability to push, pull, and reach above shoulder level.
- Ability to control the operation of hand and/or foot controls.
- Ability to frequently turn wrists in a repetitive manner.
