POSITION SUMMARY:
The position is responsible for receiving, storing, retrieving and picking of inventory items accurately and consistently in a safe manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operates various pieces of warehouse equipment including daily maintenance and inspection
- Maintains inventory control records over every product movement - receipts, shipments to vendors for further processing, product returns, warehouse transfers, etc.
- Organizes and verifies required paperwork
- Accurately identifies and receives product into inventory locations
- Lifts cartons, totes, boxes and other ware on a continual basis
- Seals cartons with tape and places labels on ware as required
- Places cartons on pallets for further disposition
- Breaks down plyboxes and pallets - disposes of boxes and packing material.
- Utilizes computer terminal to access and enter data
- Accurately identifies product to be picked from a work order
- Accurately returns product to proper inventory locations
- Moves and stacks ware for the purpose of conducting physical inventory
- Assists in physical inventory and cycle counting as directed
- Perform incoming inspection of specific materials using measuring equipment and/or sample parts and record results
- Print labels to include part numbers and batch numbers for incoming materials
- Observes safe product handling techniques.
- Regularly checks company email & responds as required.
- Interacts with UPS, Fedex, vendors, LTL shippers etc.
- Operates all equipment in a safe and professional manner, while completing tasks on a timely basis.
- Keeps work area clean and well organized and assists in keeping entire facility in the same condition.
- Works within the guidelines of ISO and EHS.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Two (2) years’ experience in fast-paced, high volume warehouse
- Familiar with warehouse operations, receiving, shipping, storing and retrieving stock, and associated paperwork

Salary : $38,973 - $50,061
