Duties
- Assist with the installation of construction materials and ensuring structural integrity and quality.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely for tasks such as cutting, drilling, and assembly.
- Support heavy equipment operation.
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor during renovation, restoration, or new construction projects.
- Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and assist tradespeople accordingly.
- Help with framing work, tile laying, stucco application, and finish work as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite by removing debris, securing materials, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working on construction sites or in related manual labor roles is preferred but NOT required.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction tools and or equipment.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and perform heavy lifting safely.
- Knowledge of construction techniques such as framing, drywall installation (including trim carpentry), metal stud framing, or concrete finishing is a plus, but NOT required.
- Willing to learn or has the ability to read blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings for various trades.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform repetitive tasks in various weather conditions.
- Valid N.Y. or N.J. driver’s license with clean driving record.
