The Foreman Roofer is responsible for leading roofing crews and managing day-to-day field operations to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and with quality workmanship.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and direct roofing crews on active jobsites
- Coordinate daily work plans and assign responsibilities
- Ensure installation quality and productivity expectations are met
- Conduct jobsite safety meetings and enforce safe work practices
- Manage labor, equipment, and materials
- Review project drawings and coordinate field execution
- Train, coach, and develop crew members
- Communicate progress, issues, and solutions with project leadership
- Exercise Stop-Work Authority to prevent serious safety violations and protect employees, property, and the worksite
- Complete required project documentation and reporting
What We’re Looking For
- 4 years commercial roofing experience
- Previous crew leadership or foreman experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of roofing systems and construction practices
- Ability to read project plans and manage field execution
- Strong communication, organization, and decision-making skills
