Join our team and start building a long-term career in commercial roofing. As an Assistant Roofer I, you’ll support experienced crews while learning installation techniques, safety practices, tools, and jobsite operations.
This is an entry-level position designed for individuals who are dependable, safety-focused, and eager to learn.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with jobsite setup, preparation, and teardown
- Perform basic roofing installation tasks including insulation placement, coverboard installation, membrane handling, fastening, trims, coping cap, reglet, and counter flashing
- Carry, stage, and organize materials, tools, and equipment on the jobsite and roof
- Support experienced roofers with installation, preparation, cleanup, and material handling tasks
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Maintain housekeeping and a safe work environment
- Follow company safety procedures and participate in required training
- Perform other duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
- Construction or roofing experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift, carry, and move roofing materials and equipment
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
