Position Overview
The Service Technician is responsible for operating a pump truck, servicing septic and holding tanks, completing daily routes, communicating professionally with customers, and making sure every job is completed safely, cleanly, and correctly.
This is a very hands-on position for someone who is able to work with heavy hoses, and are comfortable working outdoors in all seasons.
Responsibilities
Operate a septic pump truck safely and professionally.
Pump septic tanks, holding tanks, grease traps, and related wastewater systems.
Complete assigned daily routes efficiently and on time.
Communicate clearly and respectfully with homeowners and customers.
Inspect basic system conditions and report issues when needed.
Maintain accurate paperwork, service records, and job notes.
Keep truck, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
Follow all safety, disposal, and environmental regulations.
Represent the company with professionalism on every jobsite.
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license required.
CDL preferred, or willingness to obtain one.
Clean driving record preferred.
Ability to work independently and stay organized.
Comfortable working outdoors in Wisconsin weather.
Mechanical ability is a plus.
Experience with septic, trucking, farming, excavation, construction, plumbing, or equipment operation is a plus.
Must be dependable, honest, and willing to work hard.
