Job Summary
We are seeking a detailed Webmaster to provide website management utilizing NBC, SportsEngine platform. Candidates should be familiar with sports events or media website administration. Webmaster will safeguard the organization's data and content, follow procedures for posting, editing and all other editorial requirements. Work with videographers and content providers to assure timely posting of articles, stories, videos. Provide website updates, provide overviews and training assistance to site administrators, assure site maintenance, functionality and optimization at all times. Will provide troubleshooting and problem solving within the platform and among external partners. Monitor analytics and website traffic, performance, behavior and recommend areas for improvement. Provide SEO (Search Engine Optimization for improved visibility and online presence. Must be willing to be collaborative and a team player.
This is a contract role, and candidates must be able to meet timelines required in any agreed upon contract.
Candidates should have at least one to three years minimum experience as a Webmaster. A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or related field is a plus.
