The role
DVM Industries is a recognized leader in providing energy, infrastructure, and facility support services. We are seeking a Vehicle Fleet & Safety Manager to oversee our vehicle fleet and lead company-wide safety programs.
You will manage the full lifecycle of fleet assets, from ordering and assignment through maintenance, monitoring, reassignment, and retirement. You will also act as the primary contact for vehicle accidents, job-site incidents, injuries, near-misses, and regulatory inquiries.
This role combines hands-on field support, detailed administration, incident investigation, compliance management, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage vehicle ordering, assignment, tracking, registration, inspection, insurance, maintenance, and retirement.
- Maintain accurate records covering mileage, condition, location, usage, fuel, tolls, tickets, and operating costs.
- Monitor driver behavior through GPS, telematics, and mileage data.
- Enforce vehicle policies and address unsafe driving, misuse, or conduct concerns.
- Lead responses to vehicle accidents, job-site incidents, injuries, hazardous conditions, and near-misses.
- Investigate incidents, complete root cause analysis, and coordinate corrective actions.
- Develop, maintain, and enforce Emergency & Health and Safety Action Plans.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Coordinate safety training, onboarding, toolbox talks, Lockout/Tagout training, PPE guidance, and accident response procedures.
- Prepare fleet and safety reports for leadership, highlighting costs, risks, trends, and areas for improvement.

The person
- Experience managing a vehicle fleet, safety program, EH&S function, or compliance program
- Strong knowledge of OSHA requirements, job-site safety, accident investigation, and EHASP development
- Experience with fleet maintenance, inspections, insurance, registration, GPS, and telematics
- Strong analytical, reporting, organizational, and risk-management skills
- The confidence to enforce policies and handle sensitive matters professionally
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- A valid driver’s license
