What are the responsibilities and job description for the Packing Associate-Seasonal position at Dversa Inc?
About the Role
In this role, you will work in an energized, fast paced environment working with peers to prepare merchandise according to established safety, production, and accuracy standards and employment guidelines. You will maintain and verify documentation to facilitate the flow of merchandise for shipping.
What You'll Do
- Perform ticketing, packing and counting
- Ensure consistency in the quality of your work while meeting performance metrics in assigned work areas
- Work under direct supervision and follow standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Who You Are
- Stack, pack and box merchandise
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Associates may be occasionally required to move boxes up to 30 lbs. (range may vary based on work assignment)
- Previous experience in packaging preferred, but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum 2 years of work experience
- As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background check
