- Welcome patients with professionalism, assist with check-in, and provide excellent service throughout their visit
- Verify and record patient information, medical history, medications, and purpose of visit
- Perform preliminary testing including visual acuity, pupil assessment, refraction, dilation, intraocular pressure, and extraocular movement testing
- Conduct diagnostic procedures such as OCT, visual fields, GDX, IOL Master, auto-refractor, and corneal topography
- Demonstrate knowledge of ocular anatomy, diseases, symptoms, and medications
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring exam rooms and equipment are patient-ready
- Support the clinical team with administrative tasks and other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- One year of medical or ophthalmic office experience preferred
- COA or COT certification preferred, but not required for otherwise qualified candidates
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-first mindset
