Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Horse Back Riding Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will will teach students how to put the horse first while working through our curriculum and have a proven ability to teach and inspire students of all ages. This role involves helping to coach our beginner to intermediate students gain a solid foundation in huntseat riding with progression toward jumping and dressage. We have a great facility with indoor, outdoor, jump field, trails, and a reliable and safe string of school horses. We are looking for someone who can teach after school on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective training programs tailored to individual student needs.
- Teach riding techniques, horse care, and safety protocols to students at various skill levels.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages participation and growth.
- Collaborate with parents or guardians to discuss student progress and areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on best practices in equestrian coaching and horse management.
Skills
- Strong background in horseback riding with a focus on huntseat, jumping, and/or dressage.
- Coaching or Teaching experience and experience working with students of varying ages and skill levels
- Excellent communication skills to convey instructions clearly and motivate students.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members to enhance the overall program..
