Position Overview
DuxxBak Composite Decking is seeking a Technical Services and Warranty Coordinator to help customers resolve product concerns and prepare drawings and material takeoffs for decking projects.
This position has two primary responsibilities:
- Managing product warranty claims from initial review through resolution.
- Preparing project drawings and material takeoffs.
We are looking for someone with strong technical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to investigate issues, communicate professionally, and learn our products and processes.
What You Will Do
Warranty and Technical Service
- Manage warranty claims from submission through resolution.
- Gather and evaluate photographs, measurements, installation details, proof of purchase, and other relevant information.
- Determine whether claims should be approved, denied, or escalated within established guidelines.
- Communicate with customers, contractors, field representatives, and internal departments.
- Coordinate field inspections or additional technical review when needed.
- Document claim activity and decisions in Salesforce.
- Identify recurring product, installation, or application concerns.
Project Drawings and Material Takeoffs
- Review measurements and project information provided by customers.
- Create decking layouts and project drawings using Autodesk Inventor.
- Calculate the products and quantities required for each project.
- Prepare accurate material takeoffs for order entry.
- Identify missing or conflicting information before drawings are finalized.
- Update drawings and takeoffs when project information changes.
What We Are Looking For
The strongest candidates will have experience with warranty claims, technical customer service, construction, building materials, estimating, or another field requiring technical problem-solving.
Qualifications include:
- Strong investigative and problem-solving skills.
- Practical understanding of construction, building products, or installed products.
- Ability to read measurements, layouts, plans, or other technical information.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organization and attention to detail.
- Confidence handling customer concerns and making supported decisions.
- Ability and willingness to learn Autodesk Inventor, Salesforce, and DuxxBak products.
- Ability to work full-time onsite in Green Bay.
Helpful but Not Required
- Experience managing warranty claims or technical service cases.
- Decking, residential construction, remodeling, estimating, or building-material experience.
- Experience preparing drawings or material takeoffs.
- Experience with Autodesk Inventor or another CAD program.
- Experience with Salesforce or another customer-management system.
Position Details
- Full-time, onsite position.
- Monday through Friday.
- Pay range: $22.75–$28.75 per hour.
- Starting pay will be based on relevant experience and demonstrated capabilities.
