We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software testing, test planning, test execution, and quality assurance processes. This role will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of applications through functional, regression, and system testing while collaborating closely with business and technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Create and maintain automated and manual testing procedures.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and application testing.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.
- Prioritize testing activities and develop test execution plans.
- Prepare and maintain test environments and test data.
- Document test results, defects, and quality metrics.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
- Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and project planning sessions.
- Track, report, and verify defect resolution activities.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production validation efforts.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, testing methodologies, and best practices.
- Provide regular status updates and testing reports to project leadership.
- 8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing.
- Experience designing automated test scripts and testing frameworks.
- Strong experience creating test plans, test cases, and test execution strategies.
- Experience performing functional, regression, and application testing.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Ability to analyze requirements and update testing documentation accordingly.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Texas DIR Project Delivery Framework.
- Familiarity with information architecture and information management methodologies.
- Knowledge of enterprise software architecture and infrastructure components.
- Experience working on large-scale government or public-sector projects.
- Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
