Duties
- Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct automotive and heavy truck parts, utilizing your technical knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair.
- Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems, handle cash and credit payments, and perform cashiering duties with professionalism.
- Engage in negotiation to provide customers with the best solutions while maximizing sales opportunities.
- Maintain detailed records of sales, orders, and inventory using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software.
- Support vehicle maintenance and automotive service departments by fulfilling parts orders promptly and efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service through clear communication, phone etiquette, and personalized assistance to foster customer loyalty.
Experience
- Proven experience in dealership sales, retail sales, or automotive parts sales is highly preferred but not a must
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage stock levels, order fulfillment, and maintain accurate records.
- Experience with automotive repair or automotive service environments will enhance your ability to understand customer needs effectively.
Pay: $20.00 - $30.24 per hour
