This is a Full Time Position (M-F)
Starting rate of $20.00 – 23.00/hr. based on experience.
Job Summary:
As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical services and ensuring accuracy and efficiency of operations. You will process and monitor incoming payments and secure revenue by verifying and posting receipts and making collection calls.
Responsibilities:
- Enter, post, and reconcile cash receipt batches in a high-volume environment
- Process daily cash deposit
- Research and resolve A/R discrepancies with customers and internal departments, including over/short payments, chargebacks, etc.
- Perform ongoing timely review and reconciliation of assigned customer accounts
- Place collection calls for delinquent accounts
- Answers phone calls in a Call Management Queue
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma preferred
- At least one year of experience in accounts receivable preferred
- Experience with document management software (e.g. Eclipse/Docstar) preferred
- Experience with ERP software (e.g. JD Edwards) preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency with 10-key
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must possess a positive attitude and commitment to serve
- Team player
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook), including familiarity with Excel formulas and functions
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 10 pounds at times.
