As a Staff Accountant II, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the accuracy of our financial records, supporting month-end and year-end reporting, and strengthening the financial integrity that keeps our credit union strong.

Accuracy That Builds Confidence
You’ll help ensure our financial statements, reconciliations, and reporting are accurate, timely, and fully compliant — delivering the clarity leadership and regulators rely on.
You’ll support the Controller and collaborate with teams across the credit union, providing insights and strengthening our financial operations.
You’ll contribute to process improvements, system upgrades, and automation initiatives that make our accounting operations smarter, faster, and more effective.
- Prepare daily and monthly journal entries that support accurate financial closes.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, investments, fixed assets, and prepaid accounts.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Compile and prepare financial data for Board and management reporting.
- Complete quarterly regulatory filings and required sales/property tax reports.
- Support internal and external audits while maintaining accounting policies and internal controls.
- Assist with system upgrades, process improvements, and automation initiatives.
- Provide cross-functional support and contribute to a strong, collaborative department culture.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a financial institution.
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
- Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with integrity.
