What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crew Leader/Supervisor position at Dusty's Sprinklers?
Dusty’s Sprinklers is seeking a Crew Foreman to join our team! At Dusty's we pride ourselves in giving customers more time to do the things they want to do! Installation of a sprinkler system is an important journey for most; our employees are proud of their work in creating a beautiful landscape or yard for our customers. This position will perform tasks involving physical labor at Residential and Commercial job sites and may operate hand/power tools of all types along with a variety of other equipment and tools.
These position is 40 hours per week (Saturdays when needed) with competitive wages ($25-$35 per hour based on experience). Dusty's has also secured Davis Bacon projects for 2026 (higher wages available). Experience, knowledge of the field, a valid driver’s license, and an insurable driving record is a plus. On the job training is ongoing when employed with Dusty's!
Crew Leaders should be able to lead a 4-8 person crew on both Residential and Commercial job sites. The ideal candidate would be self-motivated to meet project goals and budgets, require minimal supervision, adhere to and motivate their crew to adhere to safety and job site requirements, have the ability to problem solve on the job, and complete job site paperwork or reports as needed (hours, expenditures, etc.).
Requirements include the ability to dig ditches and trenches, work outside in all conditions, the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, clean and prepare work sites to eliminate hazards, measure and mark work sites, back-fill, compact and level earth using a variety of hand tools, position and align structural components such as wall sections and pipes, load, unload, and identify tools and materials needed for projects, and other duties as assigned.
