Dusty Robotics is an autonomous robotics company with a successfully launched product in the construction market. Its flagship product the FieldPrinter™ is an industry transformative product that automates the layout process for construction projects. The 60 person team supports a fleet of robots that is deployed on construction sites across North America to increase the quality and predictability of building projects. Our customers include some of the largest names in the construction industry, including DPR, JE Dunn, and Skanska.
Dusty Robotics has built a product our customers love. Our next challenge is to make the business as strong and scalable as the product itself. We are looking for a seasoned senior operator to join as Chief Operating Officer —who will turn proven product success and an extensive installed base into a disciplined business. The COO will bring comprehensive strategy and operational rigor in cross-functional alignment to ensure Dusty runs as effectively as it innovates.
You will take on leadership of our go-to-market functions to create a unified, high-performing growth engine. This is an on-site position based out of Mountain View, California.
Responsibilities
- Lead operations: Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Manufacturing, Finance, IT, HR
- Establish operational discipline — clear metrics, forecasts, and accountability across teams
- Lead senior leadership in Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to drive alignment and build a cohesive, metrics-driven revenue engine
- Implement a unified operating cadence that connects company goals to financial and customer outcomes
- Build scalable systems for planning, forecasting, and performance management
- Build trust and credibility with the leadership team, leading go-to-market functions as the organization grows
- Partner with the CEO on strategic business development — identifying, shaping, and advancing high-impact partnerships and enterprise opportunities, including seven-figure deals with major customers and conglomerates
- Strengthen systems and reporting to support visibility, accurate forecasting, and data-driven decision-making
- Serve as a strategic thought partner to the CEO — helping shape business strategy, financial planning, and organizational design
