What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Cleaning Staff - Part/Full Time position at Dust Buddy's Cleaning?
```
Our small but quickly expanding housekeeping business is looking to add a new member to our residential cleaning staff! The ideal candidate would be trustworthy, reliable, and welcoming to our clients. Background experience in house cleaning, nannying, kitchen or customer service is definitely a plus, but we do offer training for those who wish to apply without experience!
We're very much a "one-all" service for our clients, and each one is bit different. Days are often routine, but no two clients need the same things! You'll work alone or in pairs and will be responsible for getting through your day in a timely manner. Our clients are located in several parts of the city, so reliable transportation is crucial for our staff.
We operate between 9a - 5p, 7 days a week. Residential services are Monday thru Friday only typically. This position may require two alternating weekends per month to help with our Commercial and Move-Out/Rental services during busier seasons.
Duties:
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, and "staging" our clients' properties
- Ensure all properties are cared for and inspected according to company standards
- Communicate with management regularly & fluently
- Handle reasonable feedback/requests with professionalism and patience
- Check stocking levels of all supplies and replace when appropriate
- Adhere to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices
Employees Must Have:
- Reliable transportation (Car, SUV, etc.)
- Experience as a cleaner or housekeeper, kitchen staff, nanny, or other priority-driven positions
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
- Customer-oriented and friendly
- Prioritization and time management skills
- Working quickly without compromising quality
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- High school degree or equivalent
- Pass a background check
- Be willing to wear a mask (upon request)
- Be okay around pets & kids
- Have strong problem-solving skills
- Handle critique well
One can expect between 20-30 hours per week initially, but up to 40 will be available after training. There may be a probationary pay period ($15/hr) that lasts between 2-4 weeks while training (dependent on experience). Supplies, equipment, and mileage are all covered. Starting pay after training is typically $20/hr tips for Residential Staff, with quick raises for those that perform well. Healthcare stipends are available, and PTO days will start accumulating 3 months after employment for anyone working over 22 hours per week.
We're looking for long-term hires only! Our business runs on personal touches and fluidity, and that's only possible if we keep clients paired with the same staff routinely.
