Responsibilities

- Assist customers with their orders, providing knowledgeable recommendations and upselling additional products when appropriate.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while following all operational procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure the deli is well-stocked throughout the day.
Experience
- Previous experience in a quick service fast food restaurant or truck stop deli is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is a plus.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management are essential.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service and sales abilities.
- A background in culinary arts or related fields will be beneficial but not mandatory.
