What are the responsibilities and job description for the WE’RE HIRING | JUNIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER / MARKETING COORDINATOR position at Durukan Design?
Durukan Design, a boutique interior design studio in DUMBO, Brooklyn, is looking for a motivated, organized and creative person to join our team.
This is a hands-on position for someone who wants to be involved in both interior design and the day-to-day creative life of a busy design studio.
Responsibilities will include:
• Assisting with materials, samples, specifications and schedules
• Attending client and project meetings and taking notes
• Helping organize the materials library and coordinate sample orders
• Assisting the design team wherever needed
• Helping create and coordinate Instagram and social media content
• Photographing/collecting studio and project content for social media
• Supporting presentations and general studio organization
We’re looking for someone who:
• Has an interior design or related design background
• Has excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Understands Instagram and social media
• Is organized, proactive and detail-oriented
• Is comfortable communicating with clients, vendors and the design team
• Is eager to learn and happy to jump in wherever needed
IN-PERSON POSITION — DUMBO, BROOKLYN
We are flexible for the right person: 3 days, 4 days, or full-time (40 hours/week).
