Low-Latency Network Engineer – Elite HFT Firm – New York | Up to $400k TC

One of the most respected names in high-frequency trading, where the network is the edge.

  • Consistently among the fastest players in the market
  • Small, elite engineering team with direct impact on trading performance
  • Nanosecond-level work alongside some of the best network minds in the industry

They're pushing the limits of low-latency infrastructure and need a network engineer who lives at the packet level to push it further.

What you'll be working on:

  • Design, build and optimise ultra-low-latency trading networks end to end
  • Tune Layer 1 switching, multicast market data, and precision time (PTP) to the nanosecond
  • Own exchange colocation, cross-connects and connectivity across NY venues
  • Squeeze latency out of NICs, kernel-bypass stacks and switch fabrics
  • Build the capture, measurement and monitoring that proves every nanosecond gained

What they're looking for:

  • Deep low-latency networking in a trading or HFT environment
  • Strong Layer 1/2/3, multicast, and precision timing expertise
  • Hands-on with Arista/Cisco/Metamako-class kit, Solarflare/Xilinx NICs, kernel bypass
  • Comfortable with exchange colo, cross-connects and market-data feeds
  • Python or similar for automation and latency tooling

What's on offer:

  • Up to $400k total comp (can be negotiable for the right profile)
  • A network that directly moves the firm's P&L, with the autonomy to own it
  • Elite engineers around you and zero corporate drag
  • Genuine investment in your depth and development
