Position: Landscape Foreman
Do you like working outdoors? Durkin Water & Propane, located in Brewster, NY is looking for an individual help to develop and lead a groundskeeping crew in the regular upkeep and management of multiple company properties. The right candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving outdoor spaces as well as the regular maintenance such as mowing, plowing, leaf removal for multiple company properties in multiple locations. The roll involves operating and maintaining equipment, assisting with repairs and managing the daily tasks of individual grounds crew members.
· Mowing, edging and raking lawns to keep them neat and well maintained
· Perform seasonal duties such as clearing leaves and spring yard cleanups
· Operates hand tools and power equipment including ride-on mowers, string trimmers, leaf-blowers, snowblowers, plows, backhoes , tractors and mini excavators
· Removes trash and other debris from outdoor areas
· Perform winter weather clean-ups at all locations including snow plowing , salting & shoveling
· Assist with special projects as needed
· Maintain upkeep of safety equipment and lighting at all locations
· A clean driving record and work history
· Must be able to work in all weather conditions
· Ability to handle physical workload
· Good communication skills with others
· Strong work ethic and positive attitude
· Previous experience is landscaping and general handyman fields (Preferred). Will train right individual.
· Previous snow removal experience (Preferred). Will train right individual.

Pay: $23.00 - $33.00 per hour
