Durkie Heating & Cooling is looking to grow our team! We are a small, family-owned and operated HVAC business in Rapid City, MI, and we’re seeking a reliable general laborer for the summer/fall seasons (with long-term potential).

Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of HVAC systems, including ductwork, boilers, and air conditioning equipment.
- Support service technicians in diagnosing and repairing HVAC system issues.
- Help perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal operation and energy efficiency.
- Handle general labor tasks, loading/unloading equipment, and keeping job sites clean.
- Shop and office tasks may include washing vehicles, mowing lawns, and general clean-up projects.

Useful Skills & Previous Experience
- Experience in construction, property maintenance or work in other hands-on mechanical roles.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC equipment.
- Mechanical knowledge and the ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently.
Hours & Availability
- Schedule: Must be available Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
- Hours: Part-time to full-time (ranging from 20 to 35 hours weekly depending on business flow).
- Duration: Active through the summer, with the opportunity to continue into the fall/winter based on performance, availability, and business needs.
Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
