The pay rate range, along with most all of the other terms and conditions of employment, vary between different sites, geographical markets, customer/ contractual terms and positions.
Major Responsibilities
- Dismantle a minimum of six (6) buses per week
- Must be Familiar with Noregon laptop and engine / transmission diagnostic
- removal of certain parts as indicated on work orders
- Inspecting for quality control all parts inventoried (both warehouse and yard parts)
- Marking all parts removed with vehicle stock#, then attaching correct tag.
- Putting parts away into warehouse, scanning locations with barcode reader if applicable
- Updating computer with completed vehicle status, vehicle location, parts locations, and updated quality control information.
- Removing wheels and tires if applicable
- Cleaning work area of all debris, scrap, spills, trash, etc. before starting next vehicle
- Provide general assistance to external and internal customers as needed
- Must have knowledge and use of welding equipment
- Exhibits the highest ethical best practices and personal integrity; Shares concerns about suspicious or inappropriate behavior with their supervisor or manager
- Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of automotive or diesel experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Vocational or Technical certification preferred
- Working knowledge in the use of hand tools required
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have or be able to obtain a Forklift operating license
