What are the responsibilities and job description for the JANITORIAL ASSOCIATE position at Durham Exchange Club Industries?
Description:
- Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition
- Manual labor associated with the daily cleaning of buildings. Duties may include, and are not limited to, the following:
- Sweeping, wet and dry mopping and vacuuming
- Dusting furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
- Servicing, cleaning and supplying restrooms
- Cleaning windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
- Gathering and empting trash into dumpster for removal
- Cleaning and polishing furniture and fixtures
- Operating basic mechanical cleaning equipment
- No education or experience required as comprehensive training will occur. Some housekeeping, cleaning or janitorial experience is preferred.
- Ability to work cooperatively with staff and individuals with disabilities.
- Ability to carry, move or lift at least thirty-five pounds; bend; climb; crouch; kneel; stoop and walk.
- Fluency in English language
- Reliable transportation
