Varsity Assistant Swim Coach (part-time)

• Help Plan and execute effective practices
• Assist head coach with creating and executing meet strategy to include in-meet coaching
• Drive a minibus to all road meets
• Collaborate with all coaches in the swim program and DA Athletics trainers, staff, administration and faculty
  

• Experience as a swimmer or swim coach at the interscholastic or collegiate level.
• A commitment to providing a safe, healthy, joyful environment for practice and play
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• An ability and eagerness to maintain positive, collaborative working relationships with all members of the school community (student-athletes, families, alumni, teachers, administrators and fellow coaches)
• The ability to lead student-athletes with competitive energy and formative care

• Are culturally competent and believe in the central importance of diversity and equity in the life of a school community.
• Can work independently with minimal supervision and routinely prioritize multiple tasks.
• Have the ability to work in complex environments with a high degree of organizational effectiveness and attention to detail.
