Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to approved menus, standardized recipes, and dietary guidelines.
- Maintain the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation.
- Ensure meals are prepared and served in a timely manner.
- Supervise and direct dietary staff as assigned.
- Follow all community policies, state regulations, and food safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
Qualifications
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Must have a high regard for cleanliness and personal hygiene.
- Must be able to take directions and carry them out independently.
- Must have the ability to supervise and direct staff.
- Institutional, healthcare, or restaurant culinary experience is preferred.
- Must successfully complete ServSafe certification
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to quality food service.
