Durfee Plumbing & Heating has served Cape Cod since 2008. We’re looking for a motivated HVAC sales professional to meet with homeowners, recommend heating and cooling solutions, prepare proposals, and close installation and replacement projects.
This position is part-time to start, with in-home consultations, site visits, and customer follow-up throughout Cape Cod.
What you’ll do:
- Meet with homeowners to understand their comfort concerns, equipment needs, and budgets.
- Evaluate existing equipment and site conditions, coordinating technical requirements with our installation team.
- Present options for heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, central air conditioning, furnaces, and boilers.
- Prepare clear, accurate proposals and explain equipment features, warranties, and available financing.
- Follow up on estimates, answer questions, and guide customers through the purchasing process.
- Build referral relationships and develop additional sales opportunities.
- Maintain accurate customer records and provide complete project details to the installation team.
What we’re looking for:
- HVAC sales experience preferred. Experienced HVAC technicians interested in moving into sales are encouraged to apply.
- A solid understanding of residential heating and cooling systems.
- Strong communication, presentation, and closing skills.
- An organized, self-motivated professional who manages appointments and follows through.
- Comfort using estimating software, customer management systems, and mobile technology.
- ServiceTitan experience is helpful but not required.
- A valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout Cape Cod.
- A commitment to honest recommendations and excellent customer service.
