Duravex is a high-growth manufacturer based in Louisa, Virginia, specializing in sheet metal fabrication, welding, machining, coatings, and the design and build of turnkey mechanical systems. In addition to full system integration and production, we also design custom equipment and collaborate with customers to refine and optimize their product designs. Our capabilities include UL 508A industrial control panels and electrical assemblies as part of broader engineered solutions.
Our capabilities are organized into five strategic verticals: Engineered Plant Equipment, OEM Equipment, Data Infrastructure, Defense & Secure Facility Components, Exhaust Systems, and Contract Manufacturing.
What You’ll Do:
Support Controller in daily management of the company’s core accounting functions through maintaining financial accuracy, internal controls, and compliance while ensuring transparency and efficiency in financial operations. Financial reconciliations, reporting, and internal control processes. Play a key role in company’s continued growth.
Daily Tasks:
Financial Reporting & General Ledger Management:
Maintain and prepare accurate financial records, journal entries, and reconciliations.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing, ensuring accurate & timely financial reporting.
Internal Controls & Compliance:
Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and corporate accounting policies.
Assist in internal and external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.
Cost Accounting & Inventory Control:
Assist with job costing, production cost analysis, and overhead allocations to ensure financial accuracy.
Collaborate with operations and finance teams to improve cost control measures.
Process Improvement & ERP System Management:
Assist in implementing process improvement to enhance accounting efficiency and accuracy.
Support ERP and accounting system improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
Work with cross-functional teams to improve financial data transparency and reporting.
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field with 3 years relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environment.
CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis).
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
