Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Location: 130 Industrial Blvd, Turners Falls, MA

Position: Type: Full-Time 40 hours/week (1st shift 6:00am – 2:30pm)

Reports To: Shipping Supervisor/Team Lead

Job Description

• Responsible for the quality and accuracy of work to be done.
• Work proficiently in a team environment.
• Deliver product from holding area to appropriate location.
• Palletize orders and prepare for shipment.
• Print pick lists at appropriate times as needed.
• Process orders and create tracking labels and waybills / BOL’s.
• Enter tracking information in appropriate locations.
• Add freight costs to pick list.
• Prepare all necessary shipping labels and documents as required.
• Determine and call appropriate freight carriers with cooperation and communication from other shipping personnel.
• With assistance from customer service, research and rectify shipping discrepancies and concerns.
• Keep track of back-order shipments.
• Ensure a safe work environment.
• Assist in training, as required.
• Assist other team members when needed.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalency
• Must be able to understand and follow all established safety procedures and guidelines
• Must have reliable transportation to/from the facility
• Must be a team player and have the desire to learn
• Must be able to perform all physical requirements of the position
