Duties
- Supervise and engage children during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Implement age-appropriate educational activities that foster social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment aligned with health and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, needs, and daily experiences
- Assist with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other routine care tasks for infants and toddlers
- Apply child development instruction techniques to support individual learning styles and needs
- Follow mandated reporting laws by recognizing signs of abuse or neglect and reporting concerns promptly
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, nannying or similar settings.
- Certification in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), pediatric first aid preferred
- Strong communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration
- Ability to adhere to safety protocols such as mandated reporting laws and health guidelines
