Job Overview
Join Durango Winter Sports Club in either the Alpine, Freeride, Freestyle, or Gromlins (youth Development) teams. We operate primarily at Purgatory (weekends) and Chapman Hill (weekdays).
Duties
- Lead ski lessons for groups, tailoring instruction to each student’s skill level and learning style
- Ensure all participants adhere to DWSC safety guidelines and use appropriate equipment correctly
- Provide clear, positive feedback to motivate students and track their progress over time
- Assist with communication to athlete parents.
- utilize behavior management strategies to maintain a productive learning environment
Experience
- Previous experience as a ski instructor or in sports coaching is highly desirable
- Experience working with children
- Relevant certifications

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
