26/27 Head Boys' Basketball Coach, Miller Middle School

Applications are being accepted for a Head Boys' Basketball Coach to join the team in the 2026/2027 school year at Miller Middle School.

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for all aspects of the Boys' Basketball Program, at MMS to include but not limited to the following:

• supervision, mentoring, and assisting in the evaluation of assistant coaches
• administration of budget
• team supervision and discipline
• care and inventory of uniforms and equipment
• care of facilities
• effective communication with school administration, players and parents
• involvement with middle school and community based programs
• fundraising
• practice and competition planning
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid CHSAA Certification, or Colorado Teaching Certificate/License
• Fundamental knowledge of basketball
• Experience working with related school aged athletes/students
• Ability to work as an integral part of the coaching staff
• Current medical injury treatment course work
